- The Events module allows users to effectively manage upcoming events (i.e. deadlines, project milestones) using the calendar to organize and notify the appropriate people on time.
- User Defined Fields (UDFs) can be created to capture unique information.
- Redlining within the contract collaboration is
provided by DeltaView (Workshare).
- Full text searching of all data within the system,
including attachments like PDFs, Office documents, etc.
- Multi-currency and multi-lingual capabilities (including

Documents, Templates and Business Entities
- Users can create customized Document Templates to serve as an outline for new documents or contracts.
- Ability to import and export legal text from a Microsoft Word® document and full integration with Microsoft Word® and other Microsoft Office products.
- The User Interface configures itself dynamically on Documents and provides different content areas for each Document Type (i.e. contracts or invoices). Validation of data, including inter dependencies, ensuring of adequate controls and compliance.
- Manage complex business relationships, including parent companies, special attributes (e.g. minority business, etc.) and other elements that are important for proper customer, partner and supplier management.
Reporting and Auditing
- UpsideLive’s comprehensive reporting module includes numerous standard reports as well as ad-hoc reporting capability.

and more.
- The tracking of specific documents that have been printed and who they were printed by can be recorded by UpsideLive. Settings can be changed to record all printed documents or only approved documents.

Security
UpsideLive maintains strict control over what users can ‘see and do’ in the application using 3 main measures:
- User Profiles: each user can be granted different permission levels which affect what areas in UpsideLive they have access to.
- Position Hierarchy: UpsideLive creates an ‘organizational chart’ so workflow can be assigned to a particular position rather than an individual to avoid the complexities of re-assignment.
- Groups: a control list can be established to assign individuals or positions on an ad-hoc basis.
